Brenda Lee Asp brings a variety of techniques from the Northern Tutchone First Nation in the Yukon Territories. Through materials including leather, birch bark, porcupine quill, flicker feathers, bullet casings, dentalium shells, and precious stones and metals. Participate on MRU’s first reconciliation cape, which will be featured on the final runway Saturday September 23. More than a makers workshop, participants will learn the essential protocols and processes of working with sacred materials.
