2016 Fall Fashion Week
Otahpiaaki 2016 takes place at MRU, in collaboration with PARK, four MRU students, and faculty. The inaugural fashion show, considered a success by the community draws 110 audience members and sets stage for the Seed-to-Runway model.
Over four days, 70 students, staff, and faculty contributed to the MRU Otahpiaaki Red Dress. Designed by Tishna Marlowe, individual flowers honouring beloved Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and their families.
Twelve additional designers are invited to showcase at Otahpiaaki 2017 showcases.
